Allie is on summer vacation and, as usual, she is her normal overly responsible self. In addition to taking care of her mother, Faye, she is working for her Uncle at his fruit stand and takes on an additional job-watching Principal Hostetler's adopted son, Chad. It just so happens that Faye is now dating the principal as if poor Allie doesn't have enough to worry about!
Beck is off to college early and has stopped calling her (a fact that his twin Nicole notes is because he has a new girlfriend), Junior is back from Mexico with a fab gift (1976 Chevy Caprice-Shiny blue and fully loaded!) and a new hottie, Ryker, is on the horizon. Not to mention the fact that she's a star seeker!

Ryker, who keeps calling Allie "Ava", is extremely good looking but his behavior is strange, as in not of this world strange. He suddenly shows up working for her uncle at the fruit stand and he seems to get along well with Principal Hostetler's son, Chad, who insists he sees pixies.

It doesn't take to long before Allie is on a new adventure, this time to Boundless, where she finds out she is part faery. Princess Avalon is Allies real name and she is the granddaughter to Melia, Queen of the forest faeries. Melia is Faye's mother; the mother that she thought was gone to her forever. Allie AKA Princess Avalon is soon on a quest to save the forest faeries and to help Chad, a changeling, return to Boundless.

This is a fun book that has action, romance, fantasy, comedy and mystery. As with all of Marilee's books, I have thoroughly enjoyed it. Allie is one of my favorite Heroines; she is spunky, funny and doesn't take herself to seriously. Marilee has a way of writing that just draws you in, you find yourself turning the pages furiously to see what happens next. I also love her comedic sense and I find that Marilee has a unique way of carrying off humor that so many authors miss.
I've read everything she's written and will continue to do so!
A fabulous continuation of Marilee's series. The further adventures of Allie Emerson. In this third installment, Allie is introduced to her Fae Grandmother in the land of Boundless. I'm not going to give away any spoilers here, just would like to say this is an amazing book in an incredible series. The most fun you can have with paranormal/supernatural creature. There are no vampires or werewolves, but there are werebats, kelpies, faeries- both dark and good and forest Queen's. We see Allie grow as a person and become somewhat more comfortable with her moonstone powers. Oh yea, Junior is back and Beck is away at college. Allie also meets a Prince of Boundless who is convinced she is his mate. So far, I like Ryker the best of all her male admirers. A 5 star book in a 5 star series. Just when you think it can't get any better, Marilee comes along with a new idea! Keep the stories coming!!!
generation of new
Marilee has diverged from her original story line by delving into the world of faeries. I can see why she would do this, as its completely lucrative to churn out more books and extend the story but by doing so, we're left hanging waiting for the tri-mark story to progress.

Overall writing is well thought out (although just like most kindle books there are some word spelling and grammar errors). Definitely a good quick read but doesn't fully satisfy.

I'm hoping the next book will deliver by moving the story along and progressing the character development.
I can't believe I didn't review this when I read it. So many of the books I've read don't show reviews by me that I am starting to wonder if this is because the exact edition I have was removed and with it my review. I absolutely love this book and this series and recommend it highly, especially if you love this genre. I wish I had reviewed it when I read it so that I could give it a more thorough and enthusiastic review. Give it a shot because I don't think you'll be disappointed.
Great series! Loved it!
Just like Moonstone and Moon Rise, I devoured Moon Spun.

It starts with Junior coming home, Beck goes off to college and the hot, biker boy/faery prince comes to Peacock Flats to woo Allie. As par for the course with the series, Allie's life never has a dull moment.

Although Moon Spun touches on the fact that Trimarks are still out there and are still out to get Allie, this book focuses on Allie's destined life as Princess Avalon in the mystical world "Boundless" where faeries, pixies, water horses and other mythical creatures live.

If you enjoyed Marilee's other books, you will love this one. A quick, fun read. Can't wait for book 4!!
deadly claw
The book really moves with detail. I didn't find that this one dragged. I really enjoyed the first two, and the author did not let me down on the 3rd. I'll be waiting for book 4!
Loved this book. It continues with the characters, and another suspenseful plot.
