Cool Book.

For young, curious minds this is a GREAT introduction to tornadoes for youngsters. Although certainly not classed as a picture book there are plenty of photos in this book to illustrate what the text is describing. The words in bold text are further explained in the glossary at the end of the book.

If you did not know this already, the USA has the most tornadoes in the world! Learn how they form, what they sound like, how to stay safe and more. IMPORTANT to note that although there is a picture of a house that has been deposited in a field there are no other pictures of the frightening damage a tornado can cause so kids reading this are not going to get nightmares.

Great find in our library sale. Thanks, Liz
