This book was recommended to me recently as a "must have", so I felt lucky to get a copy of it in gently used condition (as it is out of print). It's not the first time I have ordered a book in used but good (or better) condition, and each time, I have been pleased that the condition is as reported with no hidden surprises of wear. As for the book itself, it was recommended above all other similar books due to the quantity and quality of the images of within it. The images are to scale, and show the variations within and among similar species. It's not the high quality, vibrant glossy colored photography like in other books - just really detailed accurate photos that facilitate species identification.
Perfect for my son's costume as Colin Firth's "Galahad" From Kingsman. However, there was no cover. No biggie. Still got the job done.
The best illustrated butterfly encyclopedia ever! I bought this one for the conservatory volunteers who will be working with the butterfly exhibit that will be opening this month locally.
Really enjoyed the full color pictures and their true names
Even though it was used its great !!!!! At some point I would like a newer version !!!!
The edition I was sent is not printed very well, so the images are blurry, not crisp and detailed.
This book is incrediably illustrated with all the butterflies anyone could ever imagine. I definately recommend it to people who are intrested in actual sizes and variations of butterflies.
Loved the Book
