My mom had the 1st edition of this book and I loved it, but this version is even better! Illustrations are easy to understand and the lesson format is great. At the end of each lesson is a practice section that is very useful. Only complaint is it isn't in ASL grammer format but the vocab is ASL correct from what I can tell. Even without proper grammar this has allowed me to understand my sister-in-law's deaf coworker.
I love the way this book organized the signs into categories. I find that my students keep interested when I keep lessons simple and in one subject matter.
Good buy with lots of helpful information - handy
This is not an ASL
