Nothing here that isn't in Machinery's Handbook, but it's a lot easier to fit into your pocket. The tool that's included is handy and clever, and fairly well made, but I suspect that most who will buy this book already have equivalents in their toolbox. If I ever have to check a drill point angle when away from the toolbox however, I'm now all set! Quality of the printing is good, and the pages aren't flimsy at all. Should last a long time if not abused.

Good reference to have handy in the shop. Sure, everything in here can be found elsewhere and by google search, but it's nice to have this handy when needed. Plastic pages help keep it clean.

Truly a must have for any engineer or machinist or craftsman dealing with metals or plastics. A wealth of information. Great for quickly pulling up small details that you know you learned but can't quite recall. It also has a great section on learning carbide insert denomination, which can get confusing. I keep one at my desk and one in the shop. The pages are slightly waxed and even after a while of it living in a machine shop, it's in great shape.

I have machinerys handbook companion also, unless you have 10x magnifying eyes, get this. The charts and lists are much easier to see and find information .well laid out, does not cover 5he amount of detail as machinerys, but do you need that much in a pocket companion.

This is an amazing book however I realized I paid way to much $40. If you go right to engineersblackbook.com you can get it for $25.00.

A great resource for the shop, and much easier to read than the Machinist's Handbook.

This is one handy little book. So much every day information. Really goes right along with your Machinery's Handbook and will be used more often. A plus is the paper it is printed on is heavy duty and grease resistant!
A great reference book with lots of info and the best place to find info to help you understand the new fangled carbide insert designations of their sizes and uses.
