Dust jacket notes: "As the Nazis began purging German institutions of Jews in the summer of 1937, a New York Times reporter visited Adolf Hitler in his private office in Munich. To the reporter's amazement, a life-sized portrait of Henry Ford hung alongside Hitler's desk. On a nearby table rested a pile of anti-Semitic material - all of it translated from the Dearborn Independent, Henry Ford's personal newspaper. Years later still another reporter discovered a further reason why Hitler admired Henry Ford - several passages from Mein Kampf were almost verbatim quotes from a treatise on the 'Zionist plot' published by Henry Ford's private publishing company. Most American know Henry Ford as the great industrialist who brought mass production and the automobile to the people. He was a Michigan farm boy and populist hero who became the richest man in the world. Few knew Henry Ford as a Jew-hater, as a man who used the full weight of his economic power for decades to discredit Jewry in the U.S. and Europe. Even fewer know about the secret police Henry Ford paid to wiretap, follow, and bribe in order to obain 'evidence' of the 'Wallstreet Jew Plot.' This book not only recounts why Ford felt justified in his hateful beliefs, but what Henry Ford did that contributed to the rise of Hitler."

I've read Henry Ford and the Jews by Albert Lee a few times. Great book. There is another book of the same title but it was not objective. Even Lee's book left me with huge questions. For instance, on p.143, Lee states:

“According to Ford, he became convinced of the international Jewish conspiracy during he Peace Ship experience in the winter of 1915. The episode began when Madame Rosika Schwimmer, a Hungarian Jew, approached Ernest Liebold in Dearborn to gain an audience with the industrialist.”
On p. 144-145:
“Six years after the Peace Ship incident, during Christmas, 1921, Henry Ford told a New York Times reporter in Florence, Alabama:
“It was the Jews themselves who convinced me of the direct relationship between the international Jew and war. In fact, they went out of their way to convince me.
On the peace ship were two very prominent Jews. We had not been at sea 200 miles before they began telling me of the power of the
Jewish race, of how the controlled the world through their control of gold, and that the Jew and no one but the Jew could end the war. I was reluctant to believe it but they went into detail to convince me of the means by which the Jews controlled the war, how they had the money, how they had cornered all the basic materials, needed to fight the war and all that, and they talked so long and so well that they convinced

They said, and they believed, that the Jews started the war, that they would continue it as long as they wished, and the until the Jews stopped the war it could not be stopped. I was so disgusted I would have liked to turn the ship back.”

What Lee doesn't address or ask is: WAS THIS TRUE? Did a pair of Jews say this to Ford? It should be noted that the peace ship mission failed and was ridiculed by the press before they even sailed! Ford wanted the war to end; that to me, is a noble cause!

The author is also dead wrong on p. 157-158 where he writes:

“World War I was Ford's first major defeat. He was characterized as a fool for his pacifism at a time when the overwhelming sentiment of the American people was to enter the war.”

This is totally inaccurate. Woodrow Wilson campaigned in 1916 to keep us OUT of the conflict in Europe. He won, but four months later we were in it! Wilson also gave us the Federal Reserve Act and the Federal Income tax in 1913. He might be the worst US President. The American people did NOT want to get involved in Europe's affairs in 1917.

On p. 124, the author is speaking about Charles Lindbergh and states that ...he was also certain that the German people believed Jews were “largely responsible for the international collapse and revolution” following World War I.

The question he does not answer is, were the German people correct in believing that? The answer is probably yes!

Lee talks about Father Coughlin on pp. 106-107, stating that Coughlin wrote a number of articles accusing the Jewish banking house of Kuhn, Loeb, and Company of financing the Bolshevik revolution and stating Jews were behind the Communist takeover in Russia.

Again, are these claims true? Can the content of these articles be denied?
I have done much research of Henry Ford and his operations for my own series--Father, Ford, $5 a Day--so I can tell when a book about him has been researched well. Al Lee had been a writer for the Ford company and, therefore, he knew where to find the information and was able to get greater access to more of it.
I have the added advantage of having been acquainted with Al Lee, and when I discussed Ford with him, his comment, "Henry Ford was human and, as such, fallible," echoed in my mind while I continued my research.
There is a more recent book with the same title, written by a Jewish man. I understand that it is absolutely scathing of Ford for his actions against the Jews. Nonetheless, by the time I reached page 47 in Lee's book, my stomach was churning. Even a fair, unbiased report about Ford's treatment of Jewish persons as a group (Ford differentiated between Jews as individuals and the group, yet never bothered to examine that inconsistency) does not reflect well on the man in this regard.
An excellent book, which will be valuable to anyone examining Henry Ford, the man, is Henry Ford: An Interpretation - by Samuel S. Marquis, who knew Ford as his minister, social friend, employee and ex-employee. Wayne State University Press reprinted the 1923 book that Ford did his best to squelch. Marquis, too, is very fair and the human Ford is revealed, "warts and all," but also some of the good about the man.
A simple-minded book written by a simple-minded author, written about a simple-minded man Henry Ford. The author, who was a former Ford company employee, is biased against Henry Ford, described as a simple-minded man, and the author is biased in favor of Jews. The author falsely blames Henry Ford for much of the responsibility for anti-Semitism in Germany, especially in Hitler, because of Henry Ford's publication of anti-Semitic newspaper articles and books, which were soon translated by someone else into German. The author, as well as many other biographers of Henry Ford, cannot explain the origin of Henry Ford's anti-Semitism, because the evidence of the origin is lacking, and only conjectures remain. By this book author, the suggestion is that the source of the anti-Semitism of Henry Ford was a highly valued German-American employee of Ford, but with merely circumstantial evidence, despite the author's research in Ford company archives. In regard to the origin of anti-Semitism in Germany, I suggest that a much more scholarly investigation of the origin of anti-Semitism in Germany is to be found in the book written by George Mosse, "The Crisis of German Ideology".
Seller was great. The book had a lot of interesting facts that I didn't know before reading this.
But then reviewing the last 70 years of US dominance by the Khazarian 2.5%, especially in the last 30 years, we must ask ourselves one question: Was Ford wrong?

Even the Protocols he so relentlessly pushed, forgery or not, have proven quite prophetic.

If all of the things warned about pre-1963, after which the Khazarian mafia succeeded in shutting down dissent, have mostly come about, then who was wrong, and who were truly the evil ones?

An American citizen, not US subject.
heart of sky
An excellent guide to Henry Ford's anti-Semitic ties and conduct, including (possibly) financing Hitler. And short too-you can read it in a few hours.
The best part of the book had nothing to do with anti-Semitism: an account of a libel trial in which Ford fought an accusation that he was "ignorant" but in doing so proved his ignorance. For example, when asked about the American Revolution, he said "I recall something like that happened in 1812." I find it reassuring to know that today's teenagers aren't the only people ignorant about history.
