This book is a great resource for calligraphy lettering. It covers the basic tools (brushes, pens), but what is especially interestng is the sample lettering (i.e. Zenful, Latina, Anime, Beijing, Funk, Cheer, and Kaleidoscope). I've not seen these letterings in any other book. A couple other really neat styles are Manic (like lettering with a shadey hand) and Boing! Regular. I am interested in creative ways to display letters and the Kaleidoscope, with colored inks and block formation, is fun to work with. If you like calligraphy, this is your book!

It's not quite what I expected. It's more of a showcase of what he's done rather than showing you how to do the lettering yourself.

This wasn't what I wanted but I couldn't send it back.
Munimand
Good but limiting. Not enough samples.

I sent this book to my son and he loved it.
