Honestly, I bought this book mainly so I could download the videos to my inkling app. The videos are pretty good. As for the book itself, I never fully appreciated how short 200 pages is until this arrived in the mail. And even so, it's a little redundant (one chapter on positioning and portal placement would seem to obviate the need to describe positioning and portal placement in subsequent chapters). Also a little contradictory in places, since two different authors have opposing positions on the role of ankle distraction. On the plus side, the pictures are beautifully illustrated and the content of the text delivers as promised. And I suppose anyone serious about learning arthroscopy would need to have at least one text in their library. But yeah, I'll hit the lottery before I dump that much money on a 200 page book again.

Addendum: The chapter on lateral ankle stabilization describes an OPEN approach when one would assume an arthroscopy text would describe the ARTHROSCOPIC repair technique!
Very good pictures, good way to pick up pointers
good book but price is way too high
