I am a mental health day treatment program director and I am installing Re- Ed principles to the program. This book basically walked me through the entire process! I was able to understand the principles, what a program should look like; to what are the qualities of the staff. The book provided some resources that also assisted me through the process. One draw back with this book is some of the resources are a bit dated. Some of them date back almost 20 years. However, I also understand that the information provided could be used to correct some issues, but not all. I believe that the book lack details in that particular area, but the book was more of "This is how it works and this is how it should look like". Another draw back (which is not the fault of the authors) is I found Some the Re-Ed programs listed in the books did not communicate well or return phone calls when reached out too. However, that is to be expected. This entire book was one of the best books I have bought because it did a good job doing what it was set out todo!

If you work with students/clients who face emotional and behavioral challenges within themselves - please read this, and read up on RE-Ed. I have worked with these students for a decade, and this book really made me examine and renew my dedication.
