This recommended book is a good, but long, read. Hopefully, Bolton will write more history of the United Nations. John Bolton's book "Surrender Is Not An Option" should be required reading for all persons in or considering entry into the . 14 people found this helpful. Actually, it should be required reading for all Americans who want our coutry to be strong, independent and free of the United Nations. John not only identifys the problems that we endure through our interactions with other UN nations, but the self-inflicted embarassments we endure by our own State Department's blunders.
