I needed this book for a class so I didn't have much choice but to get it. Had a lot of info, so was worth the cost.
Well organized, just like the original book. Easy to locate topics. I bought other books on here and its difficult to locate the topics and pages. Getting this book had made me realize how important it is to have an ebook that's easy to refer to.
I like that the Kindle edition was $40 cheaper than the actual text at the time I bought it. I did not use it for class much, but what I did read from it was quite interesting. I would love to read more of it when I have the free time and the motivation to read.
I used this book in my Medical Sociology class last semester. I gained a lot of insight on different topics. This book more or less skims the surface of many different topics in Medical Sociology. Lots of helpful charts and side stories. The book, from what I could tell, didn't have any online resources for the student.

Had everything I needed to pass this class.
A valuable source of information on sociology of health, healing and illness.
