Sadaron above the Gods
Only one thing to say --- more, more, more and more Charlie Muffin
I'm a Russian Occupant
Book in good shape. Good plot.
I like the C. Muffin series, but this book does not live up to the usual standard where there is very little violence and a lot of outsmarting each other.

In this book there is more violence than usual, torture even which I personally find unnecessary and somewhat tasteless.

Also, the description of Charlie's smarts seems postulated as if the author has tired with it and believes that since reader already knows how smart Charlie is, he doesn't need to come up with story lines that support it.
Billy Granson
Great series featuring an unconventional British spy focused on his own survival.
Book arrived in good condition. No tears, wrinkles or missing pages.
I have not read the book, but needed it to read all of the series.
What would a big fan do? He'd go back and read the Charlie Muffin novels that he missed, and so I am doing. I liked this one very much for its intellectual gamesmanship. It was a fun read, but having read later novels I knew how things might turn out. That really presented no problem in enjoying this one though.
A good one from the old cold war days of spy thrillers. The author does a solid job with his writing and does keep the story moving. I have noticed that the more books he puts out the less is getting edited away, and my opinion is that is close to including too much that will slow the stories down. I would suggest The Blind Run from this author as one of his better works. There are the prerequisites multiple plots and trouble main character you find in most books of this type. All in all not a bad effort.
