This book was a very good read! I have to agree that the transitioning wasn't what it could've been and at times it seemed a bit all over the place but I still enjoyed it. The characters were wonderful and very believeable as was the plot. Every story isn't going to end with the knight in shining armor saving the day or everything working out, that's life, deal with it. I applaud this author for giving a relatable story to those that have endured a hard life and matter how hard they try can never seem to get what they're striving for. Im sure we all know at least one of those people and this book was for them.

This is not the typical story of a young girl growing up. This girl has to endure many things that no one else would want to. She has a mother that is on drugs and is all strung out, a brother that hates her and does terrible things to her and as a result ends up raping her. She is turned out to liking girls and in the mix of all this, she becomes pregnant with no help. She turns to the streets and starts striping and its up and down hill from there! A MUST Read!!!

All Or Nothing This is a great read. I purchased it as a test run on my new Kindle. I was amazed this was way better than I expected. The book is set on the streets of N.C. with the overactive life of Shantell Bryant. This took me many places with a few unexpected turns, Shantell is the perfected example of leading or leaving the youth astray. Whatever you do don't sleep on this author and don't doze on this story. This is a GREAT urban read.

Well when i started the book i found it semi- interesting. Some of the events and scenes tha happened where just a little graphic but realistic. As the book went on it just turned into a repeat of the scene before. The entire book was full of things that had just happened and then the ending just was disappointing! The ending was unrealistic and in the end, nothing in the book ended up changing. The character would still suffer, she would still have a kid, and she would still have the same job. I'm just thankful i didn't spend alot of money on this book, it was good but not worth more than the price.

This book was hard for me to rate. The beginning was find. You could see where the author was going. At the beginning of chapters the characters didn't come together for me. Too many unanswered questions. Who ends a story abruptly like this? The author rushed the ending. This could have been a much better novel with the story line.

Enduring so much from the beginning shantel can only hope for better days...refusing to have her daughter live the life she lives...she looks for a quick come up to stack her paper and get out the hood n live a better life...it seems that things get worse before they get better...its either all or nothing

I am giving this a three stars because despite the typos, it began so very promisingly, but as it progressed It became more and more predictable and more and more disappointing. the ending was the worse part. it seemed like it was rushed and not well thought out as the other parts of the book. to add insult to injury, the "moral of the story is" type after thought was full of useless rhetoric.
Do not waste a $1.00 on this book, it has no meaning to it, in fact it makes you suicidal. Books are supposed to have a meaning to it, I have read over 1,000 books and I never leave a review but this book I had to voice my opinion. Girl was raped at a young age, then grows up to be a stripper who learns from her mistakes but to suffer still. When do a person get a second chance at life, then the author talked about god inside her book, what a funny thing because the whole ending did not lead up to god being present. The author should consider uplifting her charactors with meaning for why they are living. The charactor should have commented suicide considering she was never going to endure happieness. Why did she write this book, is her life that miserable. Do not waste your time and money on this garbage.
