Her love for two men could save their future. Her secrets could destroy them all. Recently re-elected Chancellor Collin sur-Gaerig is a rising star on the political scene, and everyone expects he’ll soon be rewarded with an estate and title. He also has a dirty little secret: he’s in love with his manservant, Harral. If anyone—especially the wife he’s expected to take—discovers their affair, all his aspirations will go up in smoke. The mysterious woman he finds lying half-dead in the street is strong, beautiful, independent…and aroused when she catches him and Harral in a compromising position. As Aelis worms her way past their closely guarded defenses and into their bed, they realize she’s the perfect match for both of them. But Aelis has a secret of her own, an ex-lover’s blackmail scheme that could get them all killed. To save the men she’s come to love, she’s willing to sacrifice her own happiness, maybe even her life. Collin’s not about to let that happen. For the first time in his life, he’s willing to risk it all in order to have it all. Even if it means he could lose the man he’s loved for years—and the woman they both want to love forever.

This is the first review I have ever written but I had to make a comment on this thoroughly enjoyable read. I chose this book in a hurry before taking off on vacation and did not really read the description at all. Because of this, I was very surprised by the illicit sex scene between the chancellor and his male servant early on. Although I enjoy the occassional three some or multiple partner scenes, I do not like (or should say did not like) male on male interaction - it just isn't my thing and turned me a little cold. Since it was the only book I had I decided to just keep reading and 'get past it'. I am soooooo glad that I did! Once I let go a little I found myself enrapt in such a beautiful and erotic love story between all three characters that I couldn't put the book down! This author has a real gift. I was completely wrapped up in each character and on the edge of my seat for what was going to happen next, she litterally had me panting a FEW times. The Chancellor is a very Dom like persona and he wields the mental play well...a simple breakfast scene had ME wiggling in my seat! This story is unique and a breath of fresh air, I was delightfully impressed that she was able to 'warm me up' to the relationship between harel and the chancellor so much I could really feel for thier love and protection of each other. After this book I bought all her books in the series and each one was as good as the last.
This is one of the first books by this author that I have read and I loved it!! The story-line was a good one; a little common, but she was able to put twists on it that helped it to stand out from others. I am definitely looking forward to reading others by her.
I absolutely loved this story. In my opinion, It wasn't just about great sex it was about love and how it transcends gender. I'm very happy I decided to give the book a try. I will definitely be looking for more books by this author.
This book was beautifully written. I couldn't put it down. Very erotic without going overboard. I have recommended this to quite a few people. More please!
When i first started reading I was wondering what was going on. More I read the better it got. Enjoyed.
Freaky Hook
First let me start by saying I luv the author Kirsten Saell and would recommend evrything she has writen!! This book tells a story of a secret forbidden relation between two men (one of high standing and the other a servant)and a young abandoned girl. THe chancelors comes acrossed a near death girl he finds in the street and gives her shelter. THe girl uncovers the forbidden relationship and is aroused by the site and thought of them. The servent and the Chancelor then become very interested as well and it quickly becomes a erotic fantasy come true for them all.
from earth
I first read the book back in 2012 and loved every second of it. I have just read it again with the same pleasure
This is one of the best books I have ever read. And I did read a lot. I love Kirsten Saell style, the way she writes. I couldn't let the book down till I finished it. I just wish she'd write some more like it. Ménage MMF (historical or gothic...)
oh, what a book! The characters were so real! Aelis, Collina and Harral, what a combination. Words can not describe all the emotions that I felt while reading this book.
