i purchased this book for the fact that it offered 500 choices of cards designs to make. I would have given it 5 stars except the pages are separating from the binding and I have only had it for a few weeks. It would have been nice if it had been in a 3 ring binder form ( which I am having to do because it is already falling apart. ) By being in a binder you would be able to remove the page you want to work on, instead of having to have the whole book on your work space.

This is a great compilation of creative greeting cards to make. I refer to it frequently to get inspiration. The book is divided up into sections for each occasion or sentiment. The directions are not complicated, so it didn't consume all of my time. The majority of materials can be found in most scrapbooker/crafter's stash. I enjoy giving handmade cards, because I can personalize it. This is such a fun hobby!

This book has been my companion ever since it arrived two months ago. "The Best of Card Creations" has inspired me to make 100+ cards already. I just open it up, get my paper and scissors and go with it. It has lots of good ideas for a novice like me, I have since purchased two other Paper Crafts books but this one is my favorite. If you like to work with paper, buy this book - You will not be dissappointed.

Not the book to buy if you need step by step instructions on how to make each card. It just gives you
ideas- not instructions!!

I'm not an active scrapbooker but I enjoyed this book and could appreciate the ideas in it. The pictures are lovely and the designs are interesting. As someone who doesn't scrapbook very much I don't necessarily feel I could replicate the designs without spending quite a bit on materials. For someone with a wealth of supplies this would be an awesome book, even so I've enjoyed it.
