My kids were too grossed out by this book to continue reading it. Maybe for older boys but my girls didn't like this at all. It seemed to focus on the worst parts of the civilization. I understand that all civilizations have their good and bad, I just like books that portray both sides better. Info is accurate and writing is good, just the content was negative in my opinion.

Love Egyptians, love humor. Great books. The videos are better, in my opinion, buti keep a bunch of these around for extra reading in my classroom.
Prince Persie
These books are perfect for teenagers who are interested in history but want more information than just times and dates.
Brariel
Nice bathroom reader for adults but would be put to better use by getting your younger children into the "fun" stuff in history.

My son loves the horrible history books and will continue to buy them when more are released (hoping more will be released)
Ucantia
My child loves to learn about history, especially Egypt. He is only five so this sticker book was great for him and it wasn't too horrible for a horrible histories book :)

My son says this series are the best history books ever!
I bought this for homeschooling my early elementary child. It is definitely for an older kid. It's funny and I'm sure he will enjoy it when he is older, but it's not really a stand alone history book. Definitely for use AFTER your kid understand the basics of the era, then it could add to the enjoyment of learning history.
