My daughter laughed and laughed and says that she is going to make smelly socks so she can have a bath in a river! We had such a great time reading this book together. The story is easy to follow and my 5 year old easily kept up with the social implications of not changing your socks for 2 months. She loved the animals falling down because of the smelly socks as well. This is a fabulous book for kids developing their sense of humor. This is a great book for readers needing to practice their new skills because the story lines are repeated a couple of times. It allows them to build their confidence in reading. Robert Munsch is one of our favorite authors. We are very pleased with our purchase.
The kids love these books....... Paper Bag Princess is an all time favorite, so I ordered this one as well. Another hit.
This book is cute and funny. A good read for a preschooler.
I was a celebrity reader during "Read Across America" week and chose this book to read to fifth graders. I read the narrator portion and had 4 volunteers read the character words or sound effects. We had the audience's undivided attention for the 15 minutes as they totally focused on and enjoyed the story!
He laughs and laughs when we read this book. We like to make faces and play act with the story.
Hidden Winter
These are some of my favorite books for more classroom. Students and teachers a like LOVE Robert Munsch books!
Not what I expected, very young. Read it once and my 7 year old has never selected it to read again.
Entertaining story
