A nice booklet of postcard style prints. There are 30 cards but many of them are less-known flowers, with only a handful (pansy, lilac, zinnia, etc) that I could send to non-gardening friends and have them know. Even if not easily recognizable, the fairies are gorgeous nonetheless.

I took off a star because the cards are quite a flimsy card stock and I would hesitate to send them further than a state or two. I previously purchased the 100 flower fairy postcard box and those cards are smaller but much more rigid. I had expected similar from these. I included photos of the two cards being bent with similar pressure (I could not bend 30 of the box cards without significantly more effort than it took to bend the booklet). The price per card in the box is a few cents higher but it is definitely worth it for cross-country or international mailings. The booklet cards have a nice border and a higher sheen. If you are looking to display the fairies, these are better.

Also, the pictures posted in another review are what I received. The Amazon description (when I bought it) listed out 30 fairies but upon arrival I noticed the fairies I bought the pack for were not actually included. Even without them the booklet is worth the $3 or $4, but just a heads up to anyone looking for specific prints.
Big book of fairy postcards. Perfect for POSTCROSSING!
So cute! I'm using these to teach my daughter about flowers since she's named after one. They would be adorable postcards, like intended, but these will be flash cards for us. The illustrations are beautiful.
These postcards were my introduction to the beautiful art of Cicely Mary Barker. I used them as thank you cards for the ladies of my church, but first I scanned them into my computer. I turned them into puzzles with a computer program. That allows me to spend more time, looking at these lovely pictures, as I put them together on my computer.
These postcards are absolutely beautiful! My nieces loved them. The only downside is that they are larger than the usual postcards, you can't use a postcard stamp on them.
The Sinners from Mitar
When I ordered The Flower Fairies postcard book, there was a unique feeling of familiarity. These postcards are beautiful. The artist's name is what I remembered. I Googled her religious works and to my delight I have some of Cicely Mary Barker on holy cards and bookmarks for years. These postcards are just as gorgeous!
Beautiful! One of my favorite items ordered to date. So much so in fact, I have made several repeat orders. They are wonderful, sturdy postcards! ... I have also used these for my 9 year old daughters "Peter Pan's Fairy Treasure Hunt" throughout our yard. It was such a hit and the postcards hanging from ribbons around trees, bushes and such, were perfect and so beautiful. Everyone loved them!
Absolutely beautiful and faithful reproductions of Barker's work; the colors are pure, true, and bright. The card weight should stand up well even to international mailing -- that is, if you can bear to part with any of these wonderful postcards. I'll be sending to granddaughters, as well as to postcrossing members. It was informative to discover how popular Barker's fairies art is all over the world.
