Danika McAllister has everything a 12-year-old girl could want, including a seat at the popular girls' table at lunch and a shot at winning the Miss Teeny Pop crown! But the pressure of her fake, popular personality is building. She ends up exploding and tossing her mom's famous Purple Glurp dessert. It accidentally hits her lunch lady in the head and now she's in big trouble. Not only is she headed to detention, but her dreams of the Teeny Pop crown are in trouble. She learns that she needs a new circle of friends so she can be the real Danika. When her true personality emerges, she discovers that she's not a follower at all, and the adventures of the Secret Keeper Girl Club begin.

This book is too advanced for my 8 yr old. I might return it as the lingo and topics seem a bit too "tweeny" for my girl. Like, OMG.
Cute litte books. Great stories for the tweens, covers lots of issues girls deal with. I would recommend this author to ANYONE, I have several of her books and they are wonderful for directing young girls' lives.
Unsuitable for my younger (9-10yrs old) granddaughters. More for a girl 13 or more.
My granddaughter (and daughter) are raving about Dannah's materials! I am so thankful that God has raised Dannah up to minister to this important age group ~ especially in today's day and age and how our world/culture works against them in so many ways!
we love the secret keeper series
dannah, you need to write some more!
we need more uplifting reading material for young girls!
Since I always read a book before gift-giving, I read this book thinking that I probably would not make my way through the entire book, but I did read the entire book. It was silly, funny, at times goofy but it still had values to teach and content to make a young person identify with it. I think my 12 year old niece will really like reading it.
It needs to say the place of publication and the date of publication!!!!!!!!!for people can do reports on this book like me.

, thank you!!!!!????

,thank you ????
Bought as gift for pre-teen granddaughter! She loves it!

Good little book!
