I borrowed this from the library and it was so useful I had to buy it for my classroom! Get it!
In response to the pages on the Bill of Rights, the Constitution _does not_ grant rights to the American people. The Constitution restrains the US Government from interfering with our rights.

The book is readable, with nice photos and a nice, large format size. But if a book is going to teach children that their rights come from the government, then that is a book to avoid.
