I purchased this book to supplement my teaching writing to third graders. It is an excellent mentor text to use to model author's voice and word choice. The author's use of language paints great mental pictures for the children! The story is touching and has a great message about we can still keep in touch with loved ones even when they are no longer with us. So, this is a great book for any child from 4-12 but it is also an excellent addition to classrooms from first through fifth grades.
'Bluebird Summer' arrived on time and in very good condition. The story has important messages about remembering lost loved ones, caring for winged creatures, plants, gardens, etc. I highly recommend the book and would order again from this vendor.
Beautifully done.
