My oldest granddaughter loves to read, but finding books appropriate in content for her requires a lot of searching because she reads a year or so above her age level. This book looked like it fit the bill for her & it certainly did. She absolutely loved it, & I've bought her the rest of the series since. She enjoys books that contain humor & these books do. It's been such a blessing to see her have such a passion for reading. I highly recommend this series for our younger readers.
These are a cute, modern twist on the fairy tale stories and princesses we are all familiar with. My daughter just started 3rd grade and really liked reading this book over the summer break. It kept her reading and entertained. The story has been changed to be more relevant to today’s girls and still has the characters we love from our childhoods with a twist.
Fun version of a classic tale with a brother and sister tumbling through a basement mirror into an alternate fairytale reality. The main character is sure to elicit sympathy from young readers who have had to move and start making friends in a new school, and her relationship with her annoying younger brother is very believable. The tale is full of twists and turns and comes to a surprising end. I look forward to more in this series...
I bought this book for my 9 year old to read. We started reading it for her 30 min daily required reading. I read it to her, she read it to me. I couldn't wait to see what was happening next so I finished the book ahead of her. I couldn't put it down. Love the whole book especially that the whole story of Snow White changes. It is great to show that the princess isn't so needy and becomes independent. My daughter just finished this one today and went on to read the next one "If the Shoe Fits" also today.
These are wonderful books for young and old!
Such a great book I love how it goes with the traditional fairy tale ???? ???????? ???????? you should definitely read it !!!
My daughter had a book fair at her school. And gotten the special edition “wonderland”. She loved it so much we got the 1st book. She can not put the book down! Awesome series for a young girl.
My daughter loves this book series. It is a series that continues to get her excited about reading. We read them every night together and I must say that I find myself at the edge of my seat waiting for what happens next.
It a good book for my 6-yr-old, though still too tough for her to read, but I enjoy reading it to her at bedtime. We'vd read he first three in the series and she wants the rest of them. The language and dialogue is very current with positive interraction between brother and protective older sister.
