My daughters had this book when they were small. They loved it and we read it many, many times. The illustrations are simply beautiful. I bought this one for my one-year-old granddaughter. It will accompany an "A Is for Annabelle" quilt that I am making for her. I bought the fabrics which coordinate with illustrations in the book, and will give it to her when she's a bit older.
I bought this book to use as reference for making my own "trunk" doll. Starting with "A" (for the doll named "Annabelle") the book goes through the entire alphabet, showing an item of the doll's clothing or accessory represented by each letter. It is actually a "picture" book, with very few words describing each one, and the pictures are beautifully drawn! Some are black & white, but most are softly colored. Delightful book!
Bought this book for my SIL baby shower. They're naming their first baby Annabelle and I knew she already has everything they needed so I wanted to give them something unique. This book was perfect. She absolutely loved it!
Always enjoy a Tasha Tudor book and this does not disappoint.
Read and reread to learn the alphabet.
A childhood classic that I am now buying as a memoire for my adult daughter.
This was one my favorite childhood books, along with Tasha’s “A Doll’s Christmas.” The illustrations are gorgeous. My daughter has this book but I bought this for my niece who was having her first girl-named Anabel (different spelling).
Stylish Monkey
I learned to read from this book. I love it and buy it for all my friends who have girls. I'm now 33. I think I have three copies. One that's just battered, one that has "somebody's" coloring and scribbles, and one for the adult me.
I think I can still recite most of it
Love this book! Arrived on time and just as described. Cute story and illustrations. Perfect for my daughter, Annabelle bin sure she will treasure it for years.
