I did not think the storyline was helpful for my toddler, in fact I am not going to read it to him again. The very last page is about how the princess fails to go on her potty and goes in her pants. Not a great way to encourage my toddler to go in the potty. I like "Once Upon a Potty" by Alona Frankel much better; that
book shows the boy have an accident BUT he does learn to go on the potty and gets lots of praise. That's the message I want to send!
Hilarious Kangaroo
My nearly three year old (mostly potty trained but still having accidents) loves this book, and his six year old brother loves reading it to him. They both think it's hilarious, and we always have to read it at least three times in a row. I guess I can understand others' objections to the book, but I watch my little boy easily identifying with the little potty training princess in her quest to master the potty chair. He clearly enjoys watching her journey through the process. As for the ending, it's so easy to add an, "oh well, that's okay", just as you would if your child had an accident.
My 2yr old daughter loves this show, so I bought a potty book with a familiar face. It instantly clicked that princesses go potty on the pot and she's been going potty on the pot since we got it 2 days ago. Regardless of this was our miracle worker, it's a cute little book.
love it
Not a very good story.
Bought this for my daughter, come in as promised in good condition, I am surprised she hasn't work it out yet!
Especially for any little girl, but can be for boys who would be King of the potty, instead. Thank you!
