Helps young ones learn to draw, showing the basics of line drawing and shadowing on simple subjects. It is good for the minds of children to have exposure to art and music. Bought an art box and drawing pad to go along with this book. Ages 5 & up to early teens could find this drawing book useful.
Very cute. My 6 year old loves this. I would say it is right for her age. The book shows lots of different types of sea animals and 3 or 4 steps to draw the final picture. You also get one practice page per drawing, but continual practice can easily be done on different blank sheets of paper. Great for Art class!
Her books are perfect for aspiring artists! I teach 2nd grade and these books and recycled paper are a treasured and coveted center! Want to get your child (!st - 3rd grade) off computers and games? This might be the way...
My 5 year old has become quite the drawer thanks to these books. They are very easy to follow and she doesn't tire of them quickly. The step by step instructions are well written. We enjoy all the drawings she produces from these books.
This is a fun addition to a young child (about 5 to 10 years old) who likes to color and draw. I bought this for my grandson's 6th birthday and both he and his 8 year old brother love it. Many "how to draw" books are just too complicated for young artists, but this one is perfect.
Not much needs to be said, this is a very clearly illustrated book that helps kids draw their sea animals. The layout is easy to follow and the kids love it. If they're happy, I'm happy!
Grand kids like it
We have created little artists of our grandchildren with these drawing books.
They are so easy to follow, the children feel so accomplished!
They are the happiest when they gift their drawings to friends!
We never hear....I'm bored! I have nothing to do!
