I had to get this textbook for my class. As textbooks go, it's pretty good. I found the material interesting, and it supplemented the dry text with plenty of images. Actually, I was reading it while taking the bus to school, and I got so engrossed I ended up missing my stop! So I suppose that tells you something about it.

Just be sure to mind the volume numbers. I only bought volume one, and it turns out I needed both volumes for my class (and I only found out halfway through the semester, when the pages ran out). Just check your syllabus and order early, and you'll be fine.

Great book. I got it for a class and am totally keeping it as it depicts us a humans -where we came from as a society and more. It totally helps to have a great teacher that can teach it while making it intresting...

First off when I got the book, it was in great condition. Although the book is kinda large, if you want a humanities paper with an "A" or an "A+" on it then get this book.

It didn't get here in time for my class that was starting. It may have been partially my fault in not realizing that it was coming from far away and I may not have allowed for time enough to get here. Good condition, all other aspects as planned.
