Did you that D.L. Moody was a prankster? Did you know he had a friend with a huge voice? This biography of the famed evangelist, is a worthwhile read. If you've heard his name, it's probably because you know of Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois. He is the founder. If you want to know more about this man of God, or need some evangelical inspiration of your own, or just need a good read, then this book is perfect for you.

Not all written as a narrative, mostly articles, pieces of journals and letters to tell the amazing story of his ministry.

This is the kind of biography everyone likes....not too many boring details, but enough interesting details to really let you see what kind of man he was to begin with and how God changed him. It's an amazing story of how God took a country boy with not many obvious qualifications and used him all over the world! Of course many unknown people contributed to who he became, as always!

Great movie!
Monam
Inspirational and a great practical picture of a Christian hero.
Dangerous
A great story of what God can do with a person totally yielded to the will of God.

Hard for me to read
D.L. Moody is a great biography about one of the greatest men of all time. He taught us all a lot about the way he lived his life according to the Bible. This book is loaded with practical helps linked to Biblical theology and easy to read. Certainly the historical account of this book will have an impact on any reader. I encourage everybody to read this book, identify with the impact it will have on your life like it has on mine, I give it five stars, and I'm Marvin P. Ferguson, author of Boys On The Gold Coast.
