If you are looking for a light romance in the Christian genre, I can highly recommend this book (and the author). Well developed characters that are believeable, well-drawn out and entertaining to get to know. Abby is the kind of character that most women can sympathize and relate to as a woman who is struggling to juggle a life complicated by a small child, elderly parents, and lack of money. Guy Hardy is the kind of nice guy that rides to the rescue without seeming to be the typical over-the-top perfect guy - he's just comes across as so normal and likable.

This book is one of my "keepers" that I enjoy reading from time to time. I also highly recommend A Texas Ranger's Family - it was a book I thought I would hate and ended up being one of my most favorite Love Inspired books.

All the characters in this story were really easy to love and had a believable personality. Abby's parents were lovable and sweet. You were able to see the hard life they had. Though we didn't meet most of Guy's family, we can see what the family was like by reading about Guy and Casey!

The romance was sweet. I especially liked how Guy wanted to take care of Abby's family. The little things he did really meant a lot. I was happy to see there wasn't really any big conflicts or lies in this story! Can't wait to read Casey's story!

By the way, for those who like to read a series in order to get the full effect, it's not necessary this time. They are all pretty much independent of each other...

Dealing with a toddler and her parents, kept Abby so busy she had no time for dating. Her Mother broke her hip at a Home Improvement store and for some reason, Guy Hardy, took it upon himself to make sure this family was taken well care of. He got involved in their lives helping out in many ways. As I was just recovering from a knee replacement, I found I could relate so well to both the Mother and the daughter having to take care of the Mother. This book was such an inspiration to me. Also it was fun reading how Guy Hardy and Abby get to know each other. A book that when you start reading it you cannot put it down.

He dives in there and fixes everything and wins hearts as he goes; and he pays for it all! This is a neat story although the poor guy works like two jobs trying to get his woman. Does he make it or does she introduce him to a more appropriate date?

I would recommend to anyone waiting for answers from God. It was a fast paced story to learn of Christ and his love.

The plot of this book revolves around a couple of greedy, selfish, opportunistic Jews. Not only that, but in the paragraph immediately following this couple's hateful portrayal the author rubs it in by saying that the heroine's family are "good folks...members of a Christian community." This author should be banned from any true Christian's reading because she is a vicious anti-Semite.

it was a nice story, but I kind of got lost on some of the parts.
