I have many commentaries from numerous writers concerning the Bible. MacArthur adds diversity to my library and his insights are concise and understandable. I have used MacArthur as a reference book, examining his perspective and adding understanding to my studies. I like using multiple references. I like to exegete on my own and confirm what others have said as a check on my own interpretations. Well worth adding to your Biblical resources library.

Even though I have a hard copy of this reference book but it is convenient to have it available on my device. It gives a good summary of each book of the Bible with key elements noted.

I bought this book because I read the example page that starts the book, I found myself wanting to read more and get a better understanding of the focus of each book in the Bible. It is very well put together and easy to read. It has Biblical references so you can read the complete record of each story. It is a great tool to add to any collection for those who endeavor to be a workman of God's Word. I love having it on my Kindle because I can take it anywhere and read it anywhere.
I would recommend this to others.
