by Max Lucado

A crook on a cross. A wild man in a cemetery. A five-time divorcée. A grieving sister. A father at the end of his rope. People with questions. The Bible is absolutely full of them. Why are these portraits in the Bible? So we can look back in amazement at what Jesus did? No... these aren’t just Sunday school stories. They are historic moments in which a real God met real pain so we could answer the question, “Does God care when I hurt?” Max Lucado reminds us: The God who spoke to Moses at the burning bush still speaks today. The God who forgave King David still offers you forgiveness. The God who helped men and women in ages past still comes into your world, and he comes to do what you can’t—to move the stone away so you can see his answer. He Still Moves Stones, part of The Bestseller Collection, is a classic that you will want to experience again and again. Use it to introduce your friends and family to the inspiring words of Max Lucado and encourage them to take one step closer to Jesus.

Max Lucado is an inspiration for those who are walking in " The Way" weather your new to the path or have been on the journey of faith for a while. Max, has a way of extending a helping hand to fellow pilgrims along the way, giving us the much needed encouragement to remember ; where we started, where we are going, but, most importantly in whose hands we are in. Thank you Max for all your insights.

I used the book as a daily devotional. Max Lucado has a God given talent to open the scriptures in new and amazing ways that lets the reader see Christ in ways they never thought of before. An inspiring time spent with our Lord and Savior. A great way to start ones day. Thank you, Max.

Max Lucado is my favorite Christian contemporary author and it's no wonder. He really knows how to engage the reader. His writing is never dry or without spark. That can be said for this book and his other books as well. What makes this book unique is that it is about miracles, and he teaches us in his writing that they can still happen today.

NOTE - the text of the book is SUPERB ... but this particular edition is poor!! The physical size of the book small and the font size is tiny. I won't bother to return it but will have to order a "normal" edition of this fine book!

How can this book be anything but inspired? The scripture comes alive in such a way as to wipe the very tears from a wounded heart. If there can be such a thing as a hug in a book, this is it. I read it during the most painful and seemingly hopeless days of my existence and felt the Love of God filling the cracks of my broken life. Now, years later, I eagerly anticipate re-reading this tender salve from the other side of the valley.

No way we can deny Gods presence and His working in our lives...The Scriptures say" even if all mankind did not praise and worship God ( which of course will never be the case) as the scriptures say's" the stones of the earth Will cry out in praise to Him"This book is our link to know and understand the love, the magnificence of God and how much He cherishes us, cares for us and about us.

I really enjoy Max Lucado's books. I had several moments in this book that were very eye-opening. He just has a way of explaining things that really have an impact. Worth the read!!
I would recommend this book. I am not finished with it but plan to reread it again. I feel their is much to learn and will miss out on some of it. So plan to reread it. I see some of the miracles in a new light. I would recommend this book.
